I installed a Prestige APS786T in my 03 Mazda truck two weeks ago. Now today I noticed the driver's door unlock button switch does not work. The lock button works, and both unlock and lock work on the passenger button. Why is this?

Check out your wiring. Did it work before the install?

Check all your fuses?

Did the driver lock/unlock work after the install?

There is a fuse specifically for the driver door unlock button? That affects the unlock, and not the lock side of the switch?

Maybe my original post was confusing.

The doors lock when I push the lock button on the alarm transmitter remote. The doors unlock when I push the unlock button on the alarm transmitter remote.

The doors lock when I push the lock button on the passenger door switch. The doors unlock when I push the unlock button on the passenger door switch.

The doors lock when I push the lock button on the driver door switch, but they do not unlock when I push the unlock button on the driver door switch.

first make sure that where you made your connection that it is tight and there is current showing on both sides of the connector, when you toggle the switch. Then check the switch itself, make sure the switch is not possibly broken internally, and make sure the wires are seeing the necessary current at the switch.....
