although i am pretty mechanically inclined the same can't be said about my electronic abilities, and i have very impressed by most posts (both the Q and A)        Anyway thanks in advance for any replies, my question is as follows

I have 2004 chev Silverado extcab (4 dr) with factory keyless and alarm. I purchased and codealarm 425/535 from circuit city, one DEI 456g module and one PLXR, do i have everything i need to install this unit and ditch my factory key FOB?

Sound to me like your ready to roll, all you'll need that I don't see listed are 4 diodes, to isolate your door pins.

Do you have a tech sheet?  Heres a link!

Good luck
