I install a remote start in this car and everything worked fine. The car came back so that I could install the power trunk and after I installed the trunk the car starts but has a check engine light. I used a probe and found the error codes and tried to erase them. After the erase finished the codes returned. The car starts but has no throttle responce and the fan stays on. any help?

Did this problem happen after you installed the trunk release? Did you use T-Taps or solder? If you used t-taps make sure all of your wires are still connected. Make sure all ignition, and acc. wires are powered during remote start.

yes this happened after I installed the trunk release and I soldered the connection. I removed the remote start from the car and the car still does the same thing. Is there a special way to erase the error codes that I am missing?
