anyone have a problem with the trunk poping open when u press the lock button on the remote or it does it when i put the key in the ignition to the on position it will pop open? i tried to use the two different wires on the alarm that r for the trunk pop but theyt both do the same thing. so im out of ideas. i have the crimestopper rs2011IV series on a 99 mazda 626. maybe does it need a relay on it?

well on my alarm there is a GREEN/ red wire for m.a.p or for trunk pop and the other one is a blue/black ign. out or remote aux #2. than it says that connect to the neg. activation circuit of the aux device so that means if i use the blue/black wire than i connect it to the neg. of the trunk pop. if i use the GREEN/ red wire it says that optional requires relay but does not say how to hook it up to the power trunk.

sounds like you hooked the trunk pop output to the lock wire.
