how do you program the time on the compustar 2 way remote? i found no information relevant to this in the installation manual or the user's guide.

Press I and II at the same time for 2 second will get you in to the time setting program.

Press I again to set your hour.

Pressing II will allow you to set minute.

Once done you can wait 5 second and it will automatically exit you out of the time setting mode.

If that is too long of a wait pressing button I and II for 2 second will exit you out.

Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it. programming time on compustar remote? -- posted image.
