Hey,

I am having a problem connecting my alarm to lock my doors. The car came with a keyless entry system that would unlock the driver side door with one push on the remote and both doors with a second push. The problem is that I want to have my Viper alarm do the same thing. I tried connecting to the wires that the wiring diagram suggested, but it doesn't work. I think it has something to do with the fact that the factory relay is a 5 wi setup. Does anyone know how to set up my alarm for this type of system? I am also not sure where the relays are in the truck, so I cannot connect the alarm directly. I am sure I could hook the alarm up to my lock/unlock switch, but I would really like to have the option to unlock one door at a time, instead of both.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you wanted that same feature for your alarm you should have bought the Hornet 700T. This is a DEI alarm upgrade for vehicles that come equipped with factory keyless entry. You use the factory remotes to arm/disarm your alarm staying with the same features you are asking for.
