I bought a 2003 jeep wrangler with an audiovox aps25kb alarm already installed but completely disconnected. I reconnected all the wires (I think) and put the fuses back in. AS soon as I put the 5A fuse in the alarm goes off and I can't get it off.
I have been trying to get into the programming menu with the remote (I bought a replacement remote online) with no luck. What is the exact way to toggle the valet switch - is it after I turn the key to on or after that?
ANy help or recommendations greatly appreciated.
THanks,
Steve

Steve try putting your key in the ignition and turning to the run position then install your fuse.

boomer_106,
i tried your suggestion, but no luck. I called audiovox and thery said to do the same procedure. I think I must have a bad connection somewhere in the jeep.
Any more suggestions anyone or should i just look to replace at this point?
Thanks for the advice thus far boomer.

Dare,
I reconnected the main collection of wires to the brain module, then a red wire to another red wire in the vicininty of the ignition, then I reconnected a green wire to two wires in the driver's door. Do you think I missed something?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Steve
