I am looking for some type of device to open my garage door on another channel of my alarm system.  I checked Clifford's website after seeing another post, but cam up empty there.  Can someone point me in the right direction?

I have done a search on here by the way and did find the DEI 519H, but it says it works with DEI products.  Is there something I could do to make it work on my Compustar?

you need either a scrath code style remote or a dipswitch style alarm brain to be able to mate with the opener.
you can also use a second channel with another unit installed into your garage and code the compustar to the car aswell as the opener.
sweet.

I was kind of thinking about just using a brain in the garage and just wiring up the power wires and the aux. trigger.  That sounds like what you are recommending also.  A bit expensive, but being able to open the garage door from 6000 feet sounds pretty good to me.
