Hi all again:

It seems that I have solved my first problem w/ getting the remote start to work. But that is now solved. I am now having problems with the Alarm triggering when  the remote start is activated. It also triggers when the Remote Start deactivates(either Cancel or Timeout)

The Vehicle is a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer LT w/ Keyless and Content Alarm

Alarm/Remote Start

Viper 550ESP
DEI 555L GM Passlock II Interface
DEI 455G Trailblazer Door Lock Interface

Any suggestions would be a help.

Is your Factory Alarm triggering or the Viper?

Viper... Sorry I should have clarified that....

Factory disarms and rearms ok...

Viper triggers alarm on Remote start and shutdown.... I think it senses the dome when factory disarms.

Any suggestions around that

as long as your using the 455g interface like you have posted, it should be pretty much a no brainer install. Ive seen audiovox units false from the shock sensor being to sensitive while remote starter, so maybe for the hell of it try unplugging the shocker and see what happens? just throwing it out there for ya.....
where did you grab your door trigger from?, if you didnt get it at the under dash light (not all models have them) you should grab it at the dome light in the a-piller

Did you use the gray/black and green wires on the 455G? They are supposed to solve these problems since the 455G will pop the domelight on, setting your alarm off.

Using Factory Grey/Black (Under Dash Light) for door trigger.

455g

RED  to 12+

Black to Chassis

Green to Green H1/5 of Viper 550

GREEN/ Black to Green of Viper 550

Blue/Black to Blue of Viper 550

Grey/Black to Domelight and Violet of Viper 550

Blue to Blue of Viper 550 and Blue/Black of 555L

Violet to Pin 2 of the OBD Serial Connector..

Could the Grey/Black be hooked wrong?

"Grey/Black to Domelight and Violet of Viper 550"
This is your problem. Hook ONLY the gray/black wire from the 455G to the gray/black domelight wire. Don't hook the violet positive trigger off the module to anything. The whole point of those wires is so the module can isolate the door trigger when it needs to in order to keep it from seeing those false signals. By connecting the violet wire you basically bypassed that circuit. So yeah leave everything else the way it was, and just disconnect the violet wire.

Mike...

Well it works ... sort of... It solved the remote start issue of the alarm triggering. However, it also casues 2 more problems.. First, is car arms w/ door open (I would guess because the violet does not sense domelight on). Second. Because the violet is not hooked up system will not enter program mode....

Would a timer work... (eg 528t)? If so any one have the schmetics?
