Trying to locate tach wire in the 95 ford explorer... any suggestions? Thanks.

This wire is a bit painful to get at. It's on the passeger side fire wall. A big plug with a million wires attach to it. You will probably find two tan / YELLOW wire. The painful one to get to is the correct one, so don't bother with the first one that you find.

Tachometer tan / YELLOW AC PCM

FORD, EXPLORER, 1995, Tachometer

The PCM is located at the top of the firewall towards the passenger side, the tan / YELLOW tach wire is also found at the back of the instrument cluster.

Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it. Ford explorer 95 tach wire -- posted image.

PIN #2 AT IGNITION CONTROL MODULE *

* TAN / YELLOW At Pin #2 At Ignition Control Module (ICM) Located At Driver Front Of Engine Compartment.
