-- on new cars/trucks the dome lights have there own relays built in to the car, so if i were to just tap into the domelight wire with the wire coming from the alarm without a relay what would happen , could that work or should i just stilll use the relays just to be safe
i guess this woud take in to effect trunk pop and powered rear doors and side openeing doors on vans and trucks
just a thought .i prob would feel safer with the relays but also would cut down on clutter and time without them just let me know what u think
thanks

the best thing to do is use relays. most of the outputs are 500mA inc dome light.
suppose if you measured the curren the door switch uses to turn the light on. if its less that 500mA then you could go with it..
Why oh Why didn't i take the blue pill
