The Nissan folks via the VIN number say it has Keyless Entry. I bought a remote on Ebay then tried to program it. But no matter how many times I insert the key in and out....lock the doors etc. I cannot get it to enter the programming mode. Where is the entry module located, does anyone have a diagram, how do you check relays. Where to I start? I don't want to pay the dealer $100 to fix it. Well, really I want to fix it myself just because I'm ticked off that I hadn't been able to figure it out yet. Know what I mean.....

MO...thanks for that reply. I will check that module out when my daughter brings the car over tommorow from her first week of college at LSU. I know there are two relays that are designated as keyless 1 and keyless 2 in the two different fuse boxes under the hood. Can I check those myself or do I need to bring to a place like Autozone? Thanks again.

U might want to see if any Electronics shop has a Remote Frequency Checker...............We use one, ........It checks the Remote, Factory & Aftermarket, to see if the Remote is sending a signal.  It also shows the Frequency...........Works on all RF type remotes, but NOT Infra-red
