where is the data link connector in 1997 mercedes e320. i am looking for the tach wire for remote start. also when i find it, what color/s are the wire at the dlc? thanks

TACH GREEN/ yel back of cluster 3 pin connector; also found left of steering column in main harness.

i pulled the entire cluster out and there is absolutely no GREEN/ YELLOW wire with a signal on it

matter of fact, there is no GREEN/ YELLOW wire there.

As far as I remeber the dlc is another name for the diagnostics plug. Should be under the drivers dash somewhere.
