In Sept. '05 I had a Compu Star Alarm  (2wamr) installed on my  2000 Oldsmoblie Intrigue. I have taken it back to the installer four times already for false alarms; shock problems and no sound when alarmed etc. My current problem is a false alarm occuring twenty minutes after arming the system and shows as an "open" trunk on the lcd display.  After resetting  there would be no further alarms until the system is rearmed again.

Can some one help by either telling me how to correct the problem or recommend an installer who  can make this thing work.

Thanks

on that car you have to diode isolate the doorpin wires and the trunk pin wire, to prevent falsing

the colours are

DOOR TRIGGER BLUE (-) and BLUE/WHITE (-)Use both, See NOTE *2  @ BCM, See NOTE *1

the you also have to diode the trunk pin wire, follow this diagram

that doesn't work either

basically you will take two diodes twist on end together, the end with the two prongs on them goes to each door trigger wire, the other end with the single prong on it goes to the negative doore trigger output from the alarm
