I need help with my remote start. everything was working fine and now all of a sudden it won't remote start. it sends and then recieves really fast but notihng happens. Ive checked the fuses and everything and I can't seem to find what is wrong. All I was wondering is if the unit for remote start did charge (like it said in the book, if you have the fuses in before connecting to the brain) is there any way to fix that or do i just need to get a replacement.

Check the remote start diagnostic on the unit...compare the number of blinking lights and see what it is doing.

Two probable causes of the symptom you are describing:
Did you install the on/off switch? Make sure its still on.
Did you install a hood pin? If so, open the hood and push down on the switch manually (or unplug it) and then try to remote start it again.

what excatly is the on off switch? Is this the saftey switch for my e-brake or what. I tried the hood pin before and it didn't work so i just unhooked it. The only reason why I think it became "charged" was because at first i checked the connection and it became disconnected slightly with the two fuses still in I fully dissconnected the remote start from the brain and then I connected them togeather within 10 seconds.
