Some of the wiring directions I have access to say, some of the ignition and the starter wires are smaller gauge at the ignition harness

I look at the ignition harness right at the key cylinder and there are 8 wires coming out of it and all are thicker gauge

can anyone help me out

You are looking for your normal GM truck thicker wires.. Nothing out of the ordinary.

I have already installed the audiovox ax901 on this vehicle, but I can't get it to remote start

plus the airbag light is on, i connected ignition 1 to pink, ignition 2 to white, and accessory 1 to orange, I also have had accessory 2 to brown, but the thing still doesn't start

I used the 456G that works perfect, for bypass I used the 555L  I wired passlock ground to black on the ignition switch, I cut the yellow wire in half, and connected properly, as I have done lots of these at work, I started the car with key to let the bypass program, turned it off after about 10 seconds (is this the proper way of doing this?)

when I go to remote start the vehicle it tries to start and basically starts but then immediately it dies

can someone help

Did you get the right tach wire? Try properly grounding your passlock ground rather than wiring it to another wire.

You are using the wrong ground for the 555L. It should be ORANGE / black not black on an Avalanche....

The Passlock system is not getting the proper resistance from the 555L module. Ensure that the ground out when running wire is receiving a (-) pulse from the RS unit & that your ground on the RS unit is solid to a clean & paint free surface on the vehicle.
