I have a viper 790xv installed that I recently deleted all transmitters and then reprogrammed the remotes. When I did this, I lost my progressive door unlock. Can this be reprogrammed using the valet button or will I have to take it back to the installer?

There is no programming to turn 2 stage unlock on or off. It simply works on the second press of the disarm button, sending a pulse out on the lt. blue wire on the secondary harness. Was your 2nd stage of unlock on the same button as disarm? Did you reprogram your remote to the default setting(feature 1)?

Yes, the second stage of unlock was on the disarm button. When I reprogrammed the remotes, I used channel 8 which I was told to do when using a DEI 472V remote. Thanks for your response!
