I am installing a remote start dei 561r in a 2004 sable tomorrow. I have a 556u key bypass and have a question. Blue- status output, black- ground red- 12 volt is this constant or ignition?
Also for a anti grind. How do i wire this up if the 556u is on the status output wire of the remote starter? The anti grind relay also uses this wire?

Wire the 12V, to constant...for the bypass.    The anti-grind has NOTHING to do with the bypass.

An antigrind relay can share the status wire, just tee off....

i installed a 561r remote start in a 04 sable ls mercury and the doors fall asleep when left alone for a while. I read that you can pulse the door trigger for the driver door, yellow/black while thge unlock wire at the same time, diode isolate. Is this true? Which way does the diode go, the stripe? This is my first time for a diode in a car.
