I am putting a Avistart 4400 in a 98 Explorer.  I have everything hooked up and the remote start just cranks (it never fires).  It has the 555f installed, to I not have it learned correctly.  Any ideas??  I am assuming it is the 555f, could it have something to do with the Factory Alarm??

Thanks

Lights turning on in the dash? Could be an ignition problem?

Check the location of the "pellet" on the key cylinder. ALSO...will it start with the key in the ignition? The 555f is just the ignition imobilizer bypass, has nothing to do with the factory security.
