Happy New Year....

As I always do, when I am about to install a new product or first vehicle install, I come to 12volt for valuable input. In this case, the vehicle is new. I am about to install acrime stopper 2016fm in 97 Volvo 850. I need the following questions answered.

1. Do anyone have a wiring diagram?

2. Does vehicle need bypass? The vehicle does have factory alarm, but I think I read unlocking the door disarm the factory alarm.

3. Do I have to hook up the turbo timer?

4. Any pointers that will save me any headaches is much appreciated.

12+                 red
starter              GREEN/ red
Ign                   blue/red
ACC                  yelloe/ppl     all located in a plastic tube harness located behind the relays near the firewall
Power Lock        yellow/gray (-)
power unlock     Blue/brown (-) (requires double pulse)
Located in drivers door harness
Parking lights    white+
located at the switch
Use relay to isolate switch side of wire to prevent car from unlocking on arm.
Door trigger       yellow/white
Located near hood release
Do not use the pink/black domelight wire since it is affected by the delay and turns off 60 seconds after the door is opened.
Factory alarm arm (arms with lock)
Factory disarm (dis-arms with unlock)
If remote starting you will have to set up your unit to unlock the doors prior to start and then re-lock. Some remote start/alarms do not have this feature.
Otherwise test factory alarm by arming the system and the starting the car with the key. If the alarm does not go off then do not worry about
this step.
Tach    Blue
located at the coil and is AC
Trunk or hatch pin    blu/brown (-)
Loctaed at parklight harness
Hoodpin   yellow/black (-)
Located at hoodpin
Brake   Yellow
This is from DEI, hope this helpd you, The above wiring may not be correct, always check using a computer safe multimeter
