Hi looking to install a remote start ( DEI 561T ) in a 2001 ford escort  zx2 manual trans. Im having a hard time finding the right wire for the clutch bypass. I see theres a "clutch intrupter" and a netural switch. Any suggestions on how I can bypass it . Also the error code I get is netural saftey switch shutdown from the remote start.

try connecting your starter output wire from remote start directly to the red wire at the clutch.

the wire from the remote start that is supposed to energize the starter is hooked to the solenoid. The problem is on probing that wire with a voltmeter its not evan getting power. Somewhere the remote start brain is being told not to send power to that wire therfore not  starting my car. the only error code I get from the remote start is netural saftey switch. I also tried just flat out grounding the ( - netural saftey wire off the remote start ) and thats not working somethings odd.

inorder to bypass the clutch  you need to short out the 2 wires that are located on the cluch switch. it should be located right behind the clutch. thats the way i passed all my cars that are manual.
