Vehicle is 4 Dr (clamshell king cab style) power locks but no factory keyless entry.  3 wire running to lock switch.  I have installed the VIper in street rods where I run all the wiring myslef, but not in a factory vehicle.

Any pitfalls or things to watch with this vehicle would be appreciated.

The truck has Passlock II. You didn't say if the truck was a full size or different. If it is you may need to use a module to control the door locks.

To clarify, not too concerned about the remote start feature, just the locks, sensors and and additional actuator that locks and unlocks a custom toolbox.
