I have everything hooked up but the car won't run. I'm sure it has to deal with the fuel pump not being turned on. The car will just sit there cranking and cranking. Anybody have experience putting a Prostart CT-3300 (from canadian tire) in a 91 Buick Regal?

Everything else works, I'm stuck on this.

That car has 2 ignition and 2 accesory wires.  Did you hook all of them up?  I know the ct 3300 does not come ready to wire all of those.  You will have to use a relay for at least one of them.  If you have hooked all them up, check to see that you haven't ran an acc. wire from your remote start to an ign. wire on your car.  Are you using tach sense or voltage sense?

I agree with Keith. There is a pink and a blue/white ignition wire. There is also a orange and PURPLE / white accessory wire that needs to be powered up.

Also, if the Regal has a small pellet on the shaft of the key, the vehicle has VATS. The wire information says that it doesn't but I haev done a few vehicles in the past where the wire information says that there isn't a anti-theft system on the vehicle and it did have one.
Also, did the tach programming get programmed properly ?

Ok, I hooked up the extra GREEN wire from the remote start. I used it for a 2nd ignition wire. I connected that green wire to the blue/white ignition wire. The car will now start via the remote. Do I haveto worry about the extra accessory wire (PURPLE / white) stated above?

The car definately has no VATS

Thanks for the help!

Yes, you'll have to use a relay to power it though, because you're all out of high current outputs on your CT-3300

Ok, I'm not sure how to wire in the relay then. Can you help me out with that? I have plenty of those GM Hella relays

It's just a regular 12V 30A relay you need.

pin 85 acc. #1

pin 86 Ground out when running from your ct3300

pin 30 fused 12V

pin 87 acc. #2 wire on your car

That should do it.
