PLXR learned no problem. Waited for a minute or 2. Started no problems. Arm factory alarm, wait few more minutes, start it but it doesnt crank and theft light flashes. Then triggers factory alarm.

It should be shutting down factory alarm when remote started. Key sense is hooked up also.

did you program PLXR to Passlock2?
It's programmed to ION/Cobalt right out of the box.

yep. Been using these since they came out. Only thing different is this one was the omega version. I just swapped out with the normal ones from trilogix.

Now I am gonna re do the sequence to see if it was just that interface.

Called good ole Mike, found some good info. Once door closes it stops working. So it needs to get programmed with door closed.  Some of these and equinox have this issue. Not alot, just some here and there.

There wouldn't happen to be a plus sign on the key, would there???

The Torrent is the exact same as the equinoxs. Like the Yukon and the Tahoe.

So to answer your question no it is not a transponder key. Besides if it was after programming a PLXR  it wouldnt start up. PLXR only does vats, passlock I and passlock II.

So, why in the world would anything such as a resistance that is generated by the key cylnder in the column CHANGE if the door is closed???
This strikes me as rather odd.....
