Hi all,

Im looking for a specific wire on my concept 650.

It has to send a negative output when the alarm goes off, this is to activate a mobile phone to send a text message. it has to be a latched signal not pulsed.

If anyone could heelp me that would be great.

ive read the concept 550 manual and it has a output for the honk horn and has 2 settings, puulsed and latched but if its latched the horn sounds when arming/disarming the alarm, and if its pulsed it wont work with the unit..

is there any way to changed a negative pulse output to a negative constant output

check the programming settings in the manual and see if u can shut the chirp setting to off. Then the horn output would only send out a negitive trigger when the alarm has been triggered.....u will have to turn it on latched.

Where theres is a wire there's a way.

Yeah i think there is a setting to turn it off

just thought about it, and the thing is the alarm chips if anyone gets too close, as i have a proxy sensor on it so i dont thinik it will work

or does the siren itself have a wire that goes constant negative when triggered

you can use the horn trigger on constant and program it not to trigger with chirps. that will work fine.

if not is there a circuit i can use to change pulsed signal intoa constant one

needs to be negative input and negative output

yes you can use a timer relay for the prox warn away
