a safe way to do a remote start with that system is .....if your trans. has a wire coming out of it that goes to ground only when the trans. is in neatrul.

Where theres is a wire there's a way.

HI ! for info  all NISSAN  and MAZDA  car  (not made by FORD ) has a neutral sw in the manual transmission  so when I do a rs on those  vehicule I use a 2 relais system and a LED  for the safety (1 relais is hook up to the neutral sw  with the LED  to cut the starter feed from the rs if the car is in gear and the LED give me the status of the neutral sw  ( use a 12 volt flashing led ) so the car in neutral the LED flashe  Car in gear LED no flashe  For the other relais  I use the parking brake wire  (if the park brake is not ON this will cut the ignition to the no.1 relais so even if the car is in neutral you need the parking brake ON the remote start the car . ( With this system use automatic rs  no need reserved mode and door trigger  and find it safer than rs for manual gear . I use MITTCHEL's ELECTRICAL WIRING manuals for the neutral sw wire color.( BUT if it's your first time let it to the pro)(need diode for the LED   cut neutral sw wire  attach (-) side of diode to neutral sw side (+) to ECM (engine control module) side ( the LED (-)side to the diode (-) side and the (+) LED side to BAT (+) so when sw in neutral LED on  (if you need a diagram   jlacombe649@hotmail.com )   gone to CUBA from 9 to 17 feb  (GOOD LOCK )
