I installed several on customers cars. They are a very good visual deterrent. The drawback is you can only see it at night. A few tips, dont install it at the very top of your windsheild if you have a darkened tint strip along the top because its almost impossible to see it thru the tint. Either mount it along the bottom, to one of the sides or in the center below the rearview mirror as long as the tint doesnt come down that far. I dont reccomend installing more than one either. I had a customer that wanted one on each side of the winsheild alond the two A-pillars. But he was not happy with the turnout because they would not flash simultaneously.

Great thanks..I'll try and mount it in the middle of the windshield, just below the tint strip. When you mounted it there did you just bring the 2 wires back up behind it since they come out the bottom?

No, you will have to extend the wires. It comes with about 15 inches of wire. It also has a little power transformer, dont extend the wiring between the transformer and the indicator.
