i am using the adiovox 996a i was wondering is there a  bypass mod need for this car and if anyone is fimilar with this alarm alli want to to is use the remote start feature only. i want to retain the factory keyless entry. and what is the keypass wire.

No bypass is required for your car. You should hook up the alarm features as well though. You paid for them in the APS 996 and they will protect your car. You will have to hook up the door lock outputs from the APS 996 to the car t control the door locks.   I am not sure what you mean by keypass wire. Can you describe what context it is used in?

--Factory Toyota keyless doesn't work with the car running. Hook up your aftermarket keyless----it's only two wires!
--No bypass module needed.
