Hi,

I need some help installing a DEI 629 Remote Scanning LED module on a VW Golf MkIV (2002).

Does anyone know where I can tap into a (-) when armed output? Looking at the following

wiring schematic i'm guessing I could tap the black wire into the Hood Pin BROWN / Red wire.
Would this be suitable?

See below for a copy of the wiring instructions.

Thanks in advance

Hatter

If you use the hood pin wire, the LED will only light when the hood is open.
If you look at that diagram, it shows a wire which activates the starter-kill relay. This wire provides, a -12V when the alarm is armed, this is the wire you want to use.
