I am about to install a python 700 onto the Impala
This is one of DEI's newest alarm, and the harness is an actual relay (its not just lock and unlock wire anymore, its like the 451M)
i think i ground the Violet, connect the GREEN/ black with a 465 ohm resist to Lock Wire, and the blue/black to the unlock wire of the impala
Is this right?
Relay harness diagram
WHITE/ black        lock #87a normally closed
GREEN/ black        lock #30 common (output)
violet          Lock & unlock #87 Normally open (input)
BROWN / black        Unlock #87a normally closed
blue/black          unlock #30 common (output)
do i use the BROWN / black or the WHITE/ black at all?
Also, i went to bulldogsecurity.com to get the impala diagram and it said to remove the radio to get to the ignition harness, do i need to?
Thanks

H3/G Violet, H3/D Violet/Black to ground (they are already connected together with a fuse inline).
H3/F Blue/Black Unlock output to ORANGE / black
H3/C GREEN/ Black Lock output, put a 470ohm resistor inline and also connect this to orangle/black.
H3/B WHITE/ Black not used
H3/E BROWN / Black not used
Link to DEI's color codes for your vehicle. This shows that the connection is to be made at the BCM "under the driver side dash, above the parking brake lever".
Hope this helps.

you don't have to remove the radio to access ignition harness. take the bottom panl off under column, remove underdash bracing. ignition harness runs right  down on the inside of the dash(right side, under ign. cylinder).  passlock wires are also running with ignition harness.
