Customer lives 50 miles away & I am just going by what he has to say.........

Apparently, when he Locks Doors at Door Panel ( I told him not to ) he comes back & Unlocks with Omega Remote.  Starts car.  He then gets "SKE" on his Dash Display??
Was wondering if it is from Factory Security??

THANKS gcorrea for the Response

10 Times I did it.......The 1st one was the Best

A lot of vehicles these days have both a Anti-Theft System and Alarm system from the factory. The alarm is sometimes called Contents alarm or perimeter alarm. These are two different systems. Most aftermarket alarms or remote car starters dis-arm the OEM alarm with a pulse ground signal when the doors are unlocked or when the remote start is activated. Some vehicles need a postive pulse to dis-arm if so use a relay to change. With the Anti-Theft in most cases for the remote start you need a by-pass module.
