Hey guys.

Have a bit of a problem with my alarm and hope u guys can help me out.

When arming the car it gives 5 chirps from the Horn in the engine compartment, when disarming the car it gives 2 chirps (so far so good) , now the problem is that when i turn that function off in the remote the 5 chirps for arming the car does not disapear but the 2 chirps for disarming the car does. Some say it´s warning me about something, i think its a flaw in the software maybe.

Anyone who could help me out please ?

Thx in advance.

It sounds as if one of the 'zones' the alarm system is monitoring is active. Maybe a faulty hood/trunk pin switch, open door, faulty shock sensor or something similar. I am not familiar with this brand alarm but you can find the installation manual and the owner's manual here on the12volt. Take a look through the manuals and it may shed some light on your situation.
Hope this helps.

Thx for the reply.

If it was the trunk/door or hood it would B shown as an open flashing icon in the display, and this is not the case, the only thing in the display flashing is the indicator lights, same as the car flashing its indicator lights.

Another thing is that the vibrator in the remote is vibrating like 5 times with 15-20sec inbetween after arming the car, dunno if that has anything 2 do with it.
