Do you need to find the exact location of the keyless module, or are you just looking for information on how to interface with the 2006 Escape?

On many new cars, it's part of the BCM, or part of the fuse box.
Can you hear the relays clicking when you operate the locks? That should lead you to it.

Remote keyless entry unit is part of the smart junction box.

It is built into the car there is no module/brain/or otherwise.
