The 456L will work as a door lock interface in the 05 Magnum.
Directechs lists that the factory alarm will arm when locking with the door open, but can only be disarmed with the factory remote.
You do not mention what type of device you are installing, but if it is a remote start you may want to take a look at this piece, it will lock/unlock, arm/disarm, and has a Sentry chip in it that can be used for transponder bypass.
Hope this helps.

i'm installing a galaxy 5100rs remote start alarm. i've been trying to get the chrysler Doorlock Alarm & Interface/Bypass (CHDL7-PK2)for a while now but i'm not a dealer. so i'm going to just do it indivually. one for the trasnponder and another for the door locks and trunk.

Do you mean it keeps running even after you hit the brakes to shut remote start down?
