Ok guys i bought a code alarm a670 i have it all in stalled and every thing works perfect except the remote start i can't get it to even attempt to crank the starter the only way it will ingade the starter is if i turn the key to run.. with out the key all it does is turn the acc's on and then back off when the start fails... I have a 2004 isuzu rodeo, and i have the dei universay bypass with a key installed in it, I also need some help installing that in not sure on the antenna pice wheather i can tap into the existing 2 wires coming from the key or is i need to put that ring arounf the key or what the ring is kinda big. so any one that can please help me out with this once again installing the bypass model and what im missing the reason the starter wont even kick in even with the key in the ignition.

It sounds to me as if you may have a wire that is supposed to be fed by a constant hot being energized by a wire that is a switched hot.
As far as the bypass is concerned, does the vehicle start and run when the key is left in the on position? I would recommend gettting the remote starter working when you leave a key in the ignition before troubleshooting the bypass module.

Yea i can hit the start button and get out of the car and it keeps runnign the radio stays on and the ac keeps blowing just as if the key was in it. adn i went through and checked all the ignition wiring again, and as far as i can see its all hooked up right ive done these remote starts before but always with viper ive never done a code alarm before and I think thats what is messing me up.. every wire in the ignition harness is tapped except 2 litle WHITE/ pink stripped ones and theres notthing that says what they are for

For a test, run the constant hot inputs to the remote start directly to the + battery terminal, fused at the battery. Then retry the unit, with your key in the off position but in the key cylinder.
