I was looking in the database but could not find the type of door lock system this truck has. Relays needed? The alarm that was installed by the owner is a freedom 500 or 5000 not sure but I know that it is a freedom alarm that has 3 connections for it. 12volts, lock and unlock. I have not seen that before as well as the alarm. Please help with a diagram if possible. Thankyou!

Thanks 10nesne1,

The only problem that I am confused is by the 12volt output and then the two wires for the lock and unlock. Would I have to connect as usual. 12volts and lock and unlock. I'm thinking that alarm is only sending out a positive output through that one 12volt wire that is with the lock and unlock wires. I have never messed with a freedom alarm.

The 12 volt is there for wiring a module if needed. SInce you have negative trigger locks. Just hook the lock output to the PINK wire and the unlock output to the PINK/GREEN wire. Just tape off or cut off the 12 volt output as it is not needed in your application.

Just got the car in a few minutes ago. Hooked up the door locks as a type A, no luck. The door locks are reading 12 volts when unlocked, and .5 when locked. Any suggestions?

Try making your connections at the coils of the door lock relays instead of using the wires you found in the kick panel. The relays are located to the right of the brake pedal and each lead (Pink and Pink/Green) will show 12V+ while locking or unlocking respectively.
