I have a 04 sti.
My drivers window, the one touch, only rolls down my window 2 inches (85% of the time.). Then I need to push the button again to make it roll down all the way. The shop (this is a good shop locally) says it's because of the OEM one touch circuit. It makes it stop. Going up is no problem. Is there anyway around this? If I knew what wires to hook up, I could do it.
FYI: When I roll my windows down with the remote, it goes down how it is suppose to about 75% of the time. The other 25%, the drivers side window only goes down 2 inches, then I have to push the remote button again to get it all the way down.
All of the other windows work perfectly and are controlled by the drivers switches.

To vent the window 2" press the aux button. To roll down, press aux button for 3 sec. I think your not pressing it long enough.
Since This is onyl occuring on the driver side where you have one-touch, make sure the connection is make between the module and the motor. Also check the dip switch and change resistance if you think that might be the prob.

Oh, maybe I wasn't clear. It doesn't roll down when I push on the driver's window switch. Not from the remote.
