Finding 2nd Ignition Wire

I am installing a remote start on my 2003 Malibu.

All of the diagrams I have looked at show the 2nd ignition wire dark green, I checked the green wire coming from the ignition harness and it does not show to be a ignition wire (12.7 volts when key is in ACC position).

What I do have though is two Pink wires coming from the ignition harness (they are next to each other in the harness), both check the same and show as ignition wires with the ohm meter. I think I could just pick one of these and use for my main ignition and use the other one as my 2nd ignition but I sure would feel better if I had a second opinion from someone.

Does anyone know why my wires do not match the 2003 Malibu diagrams? I have taken pictures of my ignition harness that I could send if this would help in comparing to other 03 Malibu harnesses if someone would be interested in looking at them.

any help at all would help, I have posted this question in Chevytalk and Malibuclub but have not had any feedback.

thats not always true, most of the time the Ignition wire will show 12v in the ACC position also, depends on the car.  Anyway the proper way to test for the ignition is to make sure it shows 12v in the "RUN" and the "CRANK" Positions.  An accessory wire will drop the 12v during the "CRANK' position. 

I see in the wiring diagram that Dark Green IS listed as the cars 2nd Ignition, but always double check with your meter.

green wire -   Off = +.03,   ACC = 12.7,  On = 12.5,  Crank = +, Start = 14.6

I appreciate your input, I am also curios if you noticed in any of the wiring diagrams that it does show two pink wires, and since I do have two pink wires coming from the ignition which one would be the main ignition?

I really appreciate your feedback, would it be possible to send you pictures so you could see if they match the wiring diagrams, I can read plain wire to color diagrams but cannot read a real schematic.

Let me make sure I understand, are you saying pick either pink wire and use it for main ignition and the other pink as 2nd ignition
