I read somewhere here that I could find it in the passenger side kick, labeled as a yellow wire. Im unable to remove the paneling on that side and I dont want to risk damaging anything neither. I want to go behind the gauges to get the signal, but does anyone know how to remove the gauges on these cars? Or remove the paneling on the passenger side? Thanks in advance.

Any tips on getting around back there? I tried removing the 4 screws at the very bottom of the glove, and I also removed the passenger side air vent, but still had no luck. I tried testing the yellow wire that I could see, but it wasnt giving me the correct reading.  In order to remove the glove, is it the same as like the Honda's? Push the sides of it, inwards then drop down?

I normally go behind the gauge cluster cause Im not really familiar with stuff underneath the hood. I read somewhere that the wire under the hood was yellow, and I found a yellow one, tested it, I could've sworn my meter was reading it as if it was the tach wire, but I was unable to program it. Went back to that yellow wire, my meter probably read it right, but my eyes read it wrong cause the 2nd time I metered it, it read 60.XX something.
