I have a 98 Subaru Legacy Outback with a stock alarm (door locks, starter kill flashing lights etc...) and it needs to be replaced bad.  I know where the module is but I am not sure if I just unplug this thing or cut and try to use the existing wires it uses (if that will even work that is).  At the least I would need a wiring diagram for the stock alarm.  I all ready have one for the wires in the car itself but not for the alarm.  If anybody got any tips for me it would be GREATLY appreciated.  Thanks.

You can connect wires to it, but you will have to test all the wires.  Most of the wires, that I would use from the stock alarm system are door pin, door locks, and ignition wires.
