The GMDL-BP is very easy to use. For a remote start appliction only, hook up the brown to the negative out when running from your remote starter, the blue and green door lock/unlock wires to the corresponding wires from the remote starter. Hook the red wire to a fused source of battery power and the ground to a good chassis ground. Connect the violet wire from the bypass to the violet wire at the vehicle diagnostic plug under the driver's side dash. Program the module to mode 4. Then finish the programming instructions. It doesn't get much easier than this. Just review the instructions a few times before programming it. There is no need to rush. If you want all the doors to unlock at the same time, program option 1 for this as it isn't the default setting.sparky

should be a door trigger output (pink I think) on the gmdl bp... on some gm's if it's a crew cab ya still need to pull a trigger for the rear door pins of the truck itself.. not the bypass... I think there is a dome lite output too on the gmdlbp... It's all in the destructions....Tire Proz Stillwater Mn
