GMSL-2 Problem

I recently installed a Crimestopper RS1303DP RS using a GMSL-2 bypass module in a 2003 Trailblazer using the Dataport method and I had some problems. I connected it up and programmed it according to the directions for the Dataport and everything functioned except the anti-theft bypass and the parking lights. When I connected it up according to the non-dataport method, everything worked fine. I tried a couple different units with the same result. Any ideas on what I was doing wrong?

I don't deal with Crimestopper, but any chance that the data port may only be compatible with Compustar unit only and not Crimestopper?Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it.
