The RS-1905FM from Crimestopper has 2 additional, programmable, AUX outputs.  I'm planning on using one of these for the rear-defroster of my 1998 Dodge Durango.  From what I'm reading in the installation and operators manual, these AUX channels can only be activated using the 5 button (not 2-way LCD) remote.  Is this true?  It seems pretty bogus that they would give you these 2 channels but not the ability to use them with the remote that (most) people are going to be using 90% of the time.

Has any of you installed / used / own this unit and can please tell me otherwise?  :)

Thanks,

Tom

does it say in the operators manual that you might have to use two buttons at the same time on the 2-way remote to activate the aux channel????
