looking for help on the 2006 saturn view

would it be roughly the same as the 2004? not sure if its passlock 2 or 3. im guessing the 555L is the way to go, or can i use a 556u?

i cant find any wire colors for the year. and wondering if the fasd wire will hook  up to the car. seems wierd in that area. something about 2 wires goin live at the same time or check engine light will come on. dont want that.

i know this might be a difficult car, but thats part of the challenge i guess. nothings too hard, just more challenging.

This is what i used on my sister in laws 06 vue. From Everything I read the 556L or the bypasses from bypasskit..com won't work on that car very well. I used the old fashion way of 2 relays and a resistor to bypass the passlock II.

I got all the wires at the bcm which was located under the radiobut in front of thegear shifter. The only wire I couldn't find was the dome supervision wire(white) so I used a doorpin wire instead. Here is the instructions to get to the bcm. Alos the wires were tight, there is a wire tie holding the bcm harness down low and towards the left. i cut that and then unplugged the harness I need to connect to. Good luck.

FOR STAURN VUE 2006:

With dash tool assistance, remove the bezel that surrounds the shifter. Begin at the back, under the lowest part of the bezel. Lift up from the back to release (4) clips, (2) on each side of inner shifter bezel opening. disconnect the lighter plug and the plug for the right side windows.

Step# 26

With the 9/32" socketdriver, remove the (4) screws that hold the tray that is below the climate control. Lift out the tray an set it aside.

Step# 27

Lift up on the bottom of the large bezel that includes the climate control, surrounds the radio, and goes all the way up to the top of the dash. Lfit up enought to release the clips then pull out the bezel towards you to release (2) clips on the top part of the bezel. Move the bezel to the right side.

Step# 28

With the 9/32" socket driver remove the screw on the right side of the radio. Attach the InDash Mount over the screw hole. The second bend of the InDash will rest on the face of the radio. Reinstall the one screw and tighten with the (9/32") 7mm socket driver. Reinstall the large bezel, and shifter bezel in reverse order.
