Hello, I have an 03 Explorer and a Viper 791xv that was previously installed on my 04' Tiburon. Now I would like to know if I need that bypass module the 556U or the 555U bypass module for the remote start.

Also I would like to know about the Tach wire. Do I have to tap into the ignition coil from the engine bay or is their another spot IN the car that I can take it from.

And lastly, I was reading about the power locks lock when the car is put in drive, and that someone installed the alarm and lost that feature. How do I not lose that feature, I would like for my door locks to lock and unlock when the car is in drive and shutoff.

thank you in advance

You DO need a bypass for the ignition.....The tach is under the hood only, unfortunatly. But is easy to get at. The door locks you could do ignition controlled. It's NOT the same as putting your car into drive though.
