I'm trying to install a remote start in a 1999 Dodge Intrepid. It has the black key. I hooked up a relay for the second ignition but still nothing. All I get is three clicks when I hit the button. The remote start is an Omega.

Thanks,

Dave

Test the starter wire that you have and make sure that it's sending a (+) signal to the starter wire from the remote start.

I'm not getting any out put from the unit. This is the way that I have it wired.

Unit                                 Car

Starter                         Yellow

Accessory                   Black / orange

12 volt X 2                    Battery

Ignition                         Dk. Blue / White

This unit has 2 ignition wires. I used the the wire plug from the unit and relay

500mA Neg. ignition  Blue wire

12 Volt Output for relay       Red Wire

500 mA Negative starter         Green Wire

There's the problem, if the unit does not output a 12 volts signal to the starter wire, then you have a defective CPU.
