I have this jetta with remote start installed. The issue is that when remote is started and then the key is inserted into the ignition the doors lock and then the factory alarm becomes armed. then opening a door sets off the horn with the key still in.

I need to get rid of the factory alarm or turn of the ignition locking. and I know that its armed with the locks so any ideas, thanks a lot

On the factory alarm module you need to "break" the ignition INPUT wire. It's pin 4 and black. It's under the drivers side dash kind behind the light switch. there are a 10mm bolt  to get the box to drop down. Cut the black pin 4 ign. input wire, put one end on pin 87a, and the other end on 30. Pin 85 gets 12volts, pin 86 gets ground while running, or status output (DEI). Just remeber ground while running to trigger the relay!
