How do I override the delayed dome lite? I cant arm the Python 700 on a 97 GMC P/U that came with factory keyless entry. If I shut the doors and immediately arm the alarm, (while the dome lite is still on), the alarm goes off. I have to wait for the dome to go out before arming. What did I do wrong?

did you use the negative trigger purple wire at the headlight switch?

does that alarm allow you to program it for delayed domelight?

the python alarm shouldnt go off when you arm it while domelight still on, instead there should be a notification chirp.

look at install manual to see how to turn if off.

if no manual, go to download section and if python 700 doesnt show up, use viper 5000 (both the same)

(or do a search on notification chirp)

Note: You Always Dont Get What You Pay For.
