universal connectors to stock alarms

I am pretty knowledgeable about car audio, ie. they have pig tail adapters designed to simply hook onto your OEM wiring. All you have to do is connect the proper wiring. My questions is do car alarms have something similar? Ie. my Honda Accord has a stock alarm, and we are switching it to an aftermarket one. Can we buy this pigtail adapter and hook it up to the original factory stock alarm? I know that remote starter may need additional wires that need to booked up such as tachometer and break switch wire. Best Regards, Tabo

You won't "use" the factory alarm, you will work with it. Piggy backing if you will. Most Hondas will have arm, disarm. Lock, and unlock. thats all you will need to interface with the factory alarm.  Tell us what year, and we can help more!

Hello,Its for a 1993 Acura Integra. They make something like this because you will no longer be using the factory alarm. Think about how easy it will be! All it is a female pig tail adapter that hooks up to the mail pig tail that is connected to your factory alarm.Tabo

I think your missing the point. When you install an aftermarket alarm you make it arm and disarm the factory, so they both work at the same time. This is the standard way of doing it....Mike M2
