Not sure what is going on with this Viper 560, but when the car (04' Altima 3.5) is remote started the auto headlights do not come on?  Also, when the lights are switched to auto once in the vehicle they do not come on.  However, if the car is started using the key, all is well.

Has anyone come across this before?  I've seen some posts about auto headlights not turn off, but nothing like this.

Thanks,

if you remote start the car, then get in and put the key in, the auto-lights still don't come on?

2 likely causes:
Missed an accesory wire that needs to be connected
OR
wired an accessory wire as an ignition wire

Does it still do it if you disconnect the remote start's parking light output?   You can test by removing the fuse from the parking light wire at the brain.

Once the car has been remoted started the autolights feature will not work, even once the key is in the ignition.  I've also noticed that there is a clicking noise coming from the BCM area (which usually happens when the doors are being unlocked) and does not cease until I depressed the brake?  I've rechecked all the connections and the only thing I can think of is that the Pink and White 2nd accessory/ignition wire is not connected - could this be the cause?

Also, I removed the fuse controlling the parking light output and there was no change.

Thanks,

believe that the clicking sound is the remote start unit itself.  flashing the parking lights.  since it goes away when you hit the brake pedal, then the remote start is no longer activated.
